what will you do if you unexpectedly meet a situation that questions you giving up ur Hard earned money?
will you struggle in resistance with your life upfront or will you simply let go?
your immediate response now will necessarily not be what you will do if it does happen,
but what you will eventually do will always be a function of how your core values relates with the agent called "money".
5 months ago, i got to know that a good friend of mine who is also my business partner in my home-base business lost his brand new Touareg jeep to armed robbers at gun point close to a place where he holds business seminars in Osun state.
he said they collected all his phones, money and his laptop together with his latest Touareg jeep.
what did he do? he did NOT make that mistake of feeding the thought of struggling with this low minded ones over THINGS THAT MONEY CAN BUY! Over intangible materials that he brought to past and over things that he knows he can always get 100 times as long as he is alive to think and work smart.
he gave them all they wanted WILLINGLY.
i was happy for him i told him because i would have considered him the most foolish man if he had dared lost his life by struggling with those whose brain is below their feet.
he was bold enough to make that decision because deep down he knows that he is not a slave to his money, he is the master over his money which means he generates his money by applying the power of leverage an enabling factor that multiplies his income. he did things RIGHT...NOT the right thing.
but someone perhaps did the right thing recently.
3 weeks ago, a christian brother was declared missing by his family members. everybody was worried and tensed up over this young mans sudden disappearance. we checked everywhere from his place of work to hospitals to mortuaries and reported the incidence to the police station and we got nothing.
we all prayed and hope to see him quick enough to tell us his story about why and how he went into hiding without proper communication with his young wife and little kids.
the worst came when after about 2 weeks of intense searching his corpse was found in a carnal at abiola garden along the ibadan express way in lagos.
who could have done this??? we all cried. a close look at his body suggest he had a matchet cut all over his body. and a further critical look suggest that his killers were not ritualist because all his body parts were intact....then why did they kill him?
we took the report to his place of work to inquire if he had any misunderstanding with anybody recently and they said no, that he only collected his salary that day and left his office by 6pm.
Then the picture of was might have transpired got clearer. we saw the likelihood of him entering "one chance bus" a bus for kidnappers in Nigeria, and then they probably demanded for his money and perhaps he made the mistake of struggling with them. which he would have giving without thinking but the story went bitter when they took his money and his LIFE.
Lets assume that perhaps that was exactly what happened as it is always the case in most cases.only then we could say that he did not struggle with them because he wanted them to kill him ,he did struggle with them because he knew how much it has cost him to trade his time for that money. he knew deep down that he has worked so hard through out the month waiting to satisfy a wife that perhaps must have been raising insults on him over his inability to take care of his family... he thought perhaps that "if i let this money go, how will i feed my family, will my wife ever want to hear that this money we have eagerly expected was stolen ? " his core values and his ideas about money guided him to "doing the right thing"...struggling with armed robbers over
money...money that can not buy life and what did they do? they took first his LIFE and they did not forget to take his money.
he LOST TWO THINGS just because he did not have a balanced view of the agent called "money".
i don't pray this happen to anyone of you but if by chance it does happen what will you do?
DON'T EVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE OF TRADING UR LIFE FOR MONEY EVEN IF YOU ARE
PRESENTLY TRADING UR TIME FOR MONEY!
WHEN MONEY IS UR SLAVE, U WILL NEVER STRUGGLE WITH ANY LOW MINDED ONES THAT DESPERATELY WANTS IT!
You will generously give it out because you will always have more!
My business partner later found his Touareg jeep with the wireless tracking system on his car. the armed robbers were caught and were imprisoned.
he went to the police station to identify them and on seeing them instead of awarding them a thunderous slap each and reining curses
on their generations he handed them a one thousand naira note bill each for their feeding for the day.
Why because deep down, his core values are never to trade time for money so as not to be tempted to trade his life for it unexpected.
I wish you all the very best in life and may Jehovah God continue to protect us and guide us in life and in our decision making process.
your positive and constructive comments will be well appreciated.
